Toronto, April 27, 2026 – To mark the 50th anniversary of its Paris–Toronto route, Air France unveiled La pâtisserie, a limited-time pop-up pastry shop opening in Toronto until May 17 as a unique opportunity to experience Air France’s signature service beyond travel itself.

For the first time, the airline’s Business Class pastry selection is available on the ground.

Visitors are invited to discover and enjoy a signature part of Air France’s gastronomic offering.

Located at 151 Bloor Street West, La pâtisserie is designed as a boutique inspired by the world of Air France Business Class, where French elegance, audacity, and culinary expertise come together in a refined yet welcoming setting.

An Air France signature experience

At the heart of the pop-up is a curated selection of five pastries, created by renowned French pastry chefs Yann Couvreur and Laurent Le Daniel (Meilleur Ouvrier de France). These creations are the very same served on board Air France Business Class, reflecting the airline’s commitment to French gastronomy through collaborations with leading chefs.

A space designed for discovery and enjoyment

The space combines a retail boutique—where guests can purchase pastries to take away—with a cozy coffee lounge inviting visitors to sit back, relax, and enjoy the moment. The boutique offers an immersive atmosphere reminiscent of Air France Business Class, brought to life in the heart of Toronto.

Celebrating 50 years of connection

On May 21, 1976, Air France launched its first Toronto-Paris flight, operated by a Boeing 747. At that time, Air France was the only airline to offer this route, with three weekly flights.  50 years later, Air France will offer 2 daily flights out of Toronto this summer.

Apart from Toronto, in the peak season, Air France will be flying to Paris from Montreal (28 flights), Quebec City (4), Ottawa (7), and Vancouver (7), for a total of 60 flights per week.
